Budget fashion retailer closing Gainesville Square store

Fashion Ten, an overstock clothing and accessories store geared towards women and girls, announced Thursday that the Gainesville location will not reopen after closing due to COVID-19.

In two posts on the company's social media, management did not give a specific reason as to why they decided to close just the location on the Gainesville Square, only stating that they decided to leave the prime space on Washington Street and allow another business to take hold.

The family owned business has another nearby location in the Flowery Branch/Buford area, off Atlanta Highway, as well as several other locations around North Georgia and an online store.

The business specializes in fast fashion at a price of $10 or less for the majority of items, from shirts, leggings, dresses and t-shirts to accessories, hair bows and shoes.

All of the Fashion Ten locations closed in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Gainesville location is the only one that has not since reopened.
