Georgia Department of Transportation crews will be working on Roy Parks Road in the Talmo area next week, prompting some traffic delays in the area.
Starting Monday, July 13 through Friday, July 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Roy Parks Road will be reduced to a single lane of traffic. The work is associated with the widening project on State Route 11/US 129 (Athens Highway) and will bring the state roadway level with the side road, according to GDOT officials.
Flagging operators with Georgia DOT will direct traffic and motorists are asked to drive carefully through the work zone.
