It was a busy weekend in the Irish Hills as the NASCAR Cup Series ran a double header at Michigan International Speedway.

-Kevin Harvick became the first driver to sweep two NASCAR Cup Series races on the same weekend since Richard Petty did it back in 1971.
-Harvick, Denny Hamlin and Brad Keselowski cemented their spots as contenders for the championship with just four races left in the "regular season."
