Lt. Gov. to give keynote address at Good News Club event

Geoff Duncan, Georgia's Lt. Governor, will deliver the keynote address for the 10th anniversary celebration of the establishment of the Good News Clubs in Gwinnett and Walton counties. 

Child Evangelism Fellowship is the sponsor of the Christian after-school program, which had clubs in 47 public schools in the two counties last year. Some 3,000 students attended the clubs at their schools. Proceed from the annual banquet will go to expanded the reach of the clubs in the schools in Gwinnett and Walton counties. 

The fundraising event is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 6:30 p.m. at 550 Trackside in Lawrenceville. Those who want to attend must RSVP by Oct. 5 at 678-386-6923 or www.goodnewsclubgwinnett.org/banquet

Duncan, who lives in Cumming, was elected Lt. Governor of Georgia in 2018. Before that, he was a member of the Georgia House of Representatives.
