Sawnee Mountain Park in Forsyth County will be closed from Friday, Oct. 22 through Sunday, Oct. 24 for ongoing renovations at the park.
Forsyth County officials said the public will not be able to use any part of the park while resurfacing work is going on on the parking lot and entry road to the park.
This paving is part of the overall renovations of Sawnee Mountain Park that began in May. Other improvements underway at the park are baseball/softball complex improvements, a new playground and pavilion, refurbished tennis courts and updates to the concession stand and restrooms.
Sawnee Mountain Park is located at 3995 Watson Rd. just north of Cumming.
