5 people were displaced by a fire that broke out inside their North Hall home on Christmas Eve.
The fire was reported Friday evening on Hillsborough Road, just off Highland Circle.
"Arriving units found a single story home on a full basement with heavy smoke showing from the rear of the home.," said Christie Grice, EMS Division Chief with Hall County Fire Rescue. "The fire was confined to the basement and rapidly extinguished by Hall County Fire Rescue."
Grice said the fire displaced two adults and three children, but that no injuries were reported. The Red Cross was notified, and is said to be assisting the family.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, and more information is expected at a later date.
