The Lumpkin County Board of Commissioners has identified two finalists in the county's search for a new county manager.
According to information released by Lumpkin County Government on Monday, Alan Ours and Alicia Vaughan are the finalists for the job. Pursuant to Georgia law, the Board of Commissioners expects to make a job offer no sooner than 14 days after Monday's announcement.
Either Ours or Vaughan will take the place of Stan Kelley, who will retire on June 30, 2021. Kelley has served as Lumpkin County Manager for the past 16 years.
