An unidentified man is dead following an injury Wednesday afternoon at a construction site in a Dawson County residential area.
According to a statement from Dawson County Fire and Emergency Services Chief Danny Thompson, crews responded to Pine Needle Drive off of Harry Sosebee Road at 12:31 p.m. Crews transported the injured man from the site to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, where he later died.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the incident. Thompson said the man's identity is being withheld pending the investigation and notifying the family.
