Kyle Larson recorded his third victory of the season and the first of his NASCAR Cup Series career on a road course on Sunday at Sonoma Raceway.
Our Hard Left Turn crew takes a look at the action on the twisting, turning California road course, including:
-Larson swept the day, starting on the pole and winning both segments en route to his win on Sunday at Sears Point.
-Chase Elliott was dethroned as the "road course king", settling for second at the end of the day.
-Martin Truex, Jr. rebounded from a disasterous race the week before at Charlotte to bring home a solid third place finish.
-Kyle Busch finished fifth, and was plain in his statement during post race that he and his Joe Gibbs Racing teammates don't have the power to compete with the Hendrick Chevrolets right now.
-Plus we'll preview the NASCAR race weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.
