Democratic nominee for Governor, Stacey Abrams, announced Wednesday that she will hold an AAPI Community Rally with Secretary of State candidate, Bee Nguyen, in Gwinnett County on Friday, October 7.
Abrams will also participate in a Divine Nine Day of Action in Fulton County with members of Georgia’s Black Greek fraternities and sororities on Saturday, October 8 . According to a press release, this event is a part of One Georgia’s statewide “D9 Day of Action,” taking place at field offices across the state.
During each event, Abrams will “hear from and speak with Georgians about her plans to ensure Georgians of all backgrounds have access to fully funded education, quality healthcare, affordable housing and a good living.”
