Pennie Crockett was in an abusive relationship for some time before she realized the toll it was taking on her. Now out of the relationship, Crockett shares her story in "From Battered to Boss Lady." According to the National Institutes of Health, 1 in 3 adult women in the U.S. have been victims of domestic abuse.
