Cumming's new event venue to be named the Lou Sobh Amphitheater

A new amphitheater coming to Forsyth County has been named in honor of the sponsoring donor. The City of Cumming announced that the new amphitheater will be funded by the Lou Sobh Automotive Group.

The new amphitheater will be located at the Cumming City Center and will provide a venue for live concerts, music festivals, movie nights, and live-streamed sporting events. According to a press release from the City of Cumming, Lou Sobh Automotive Group will provide a significant amount of support in exchange for exclusive naming rights to the amphitheater, sponsorship and promotional rights. They will also be allowed to have vehicles on display during events held there.

“We could not be happier or more excited to have partnered with Lou Sobh Automotive Group, and we cannot wait to complete the Lou Sobh Amphitheater at the Cumming City Center,” says Mayor Troy Brumbalow. “We are exceedingly grateful to this wonderful business for their willingness to step forward and sponsor what we believe will become one of the most vibrant spots in the City of Cumming.”

The Sobh family owns two dealerships, both located on Buford Road. “We are truly honored to have the Lou Sobh name grace this wonderful venue,” says Mike Sobh.

The development will include five tiers of grassy turf and terrace wall seating, as well as top-tier bar seating, and a reflection pool. The amphitheater will feature a 2,227-square-foot stage.
