A restaurant in Commerce suffered "moderate damage" in a fire Sunday afternoon, according to fire officials.
A press release from Banks County Fire and Emergency Services stated crews responded to the business at 176 Faulkner Road just before 3:30 p.m. They found the building with smoke showing from the roof and doors.
The fire itself was contained to the kitchen of the restaurant. The kitchen was heavily damaged by fire, while the rest of the building was damaged by smoke and water.
Investigators believe the fire was accidental, and have not ruled out cooking equipment being left on as the cause.
No injuries were reported in the fire. Crews cleared the scene around 6:30 that evening.
