No injuries were reported after a fire damaged a mobile home in southeastern Hall County Friday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the scene on Wallace Road at roughly 3:20 p.m., and arrived to find a single-wide mobile home with smoke escaping from every opening.
"There were no visible flames from the exterior as firefighters made an offensive attack on the fire," said EMS Division Chief Christie Grice with Hall County Fire Rescue. "The fire was confined to the kitchen and living room and quickly extinguished. Hall County Fire Units cleared the scene just before 5:00 p.m."
No one was home when the fire broke out.
Grice said the cause of the fire is unknown at this time, and the subsequent investigation has been turned over to the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.
