By AccessWDUN Staff

BLAIRSVILLE, Ga. — Throughout a rainy night, it was Union County that outlasted Fannin County by a score of 14-7.

With seconds left, the Rebels attempted to play fake a counter and sent quarterback Corbin Davenport around the outside, but Panther corner Sam Page made an open field tackle to secure the win for the home team.

Jenson Goble led the way in receiving for Union with 65 yards and a touchdown on five catches. Caiden Tanner had 195 yards through the air with one touchdown, while Conner Shucknet had a rushing touchdown on one of his eight carries for a total of 20 yards.

The Panthers will play host to Lumpkin County next week in a battle of unbeatens.
