GAINESVILLE, Ga. — The East Forsyth defense pitched a shutout while the offense exploded to rout Seckinger Friday night, 48-0.
Jack Brumbelow scored a trio of first-half touchdowns, two through the air from quarterback Brock Szakacs and one on a blocked punt to pace the scoring.
Brandon Peoples set up the game's opening touchdown on a 23-yard run, setting up Will Moffitt to rush in from three yards out to put the Broncos out in front.
After leading 28-0 at halftime, East Forsyth opened the second half with a 57-yard drive capped by a 28-yard run from Tripp Morris to extend the lead. Peoples would score later in the half before Kovi Edgil wrapped the scoring with a 6-yard run in the fourth quarter.
East Forsyth will travel to Cedar Shoals next week for a game in Athens.
