ATLANTA — Atlanta United returns to action on Wednesday when it visits Subaru Park to take on Philadelphia Union.

Kick-off is set for 7:30 p.m.

Atlanta clinched a berth in the Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs with its 4-1 victory against Montreal on Sept. 23 and currently sits sixth in the Eastern Conference standings with three regular season matches remaining.

Atlanta holds a 5-3-4 all-time record against Philadelphia Union in MLS regular season play: 4-0-3 at home and 1-3-1 on the road. Atlanta won the first meeting with Philadelphia this season 2-0 in Atlanta on July 2.

Thiago Almada is the third player in club history to record at least 10 goals and 10 assists in a single season, joining Miguel Almirón and Tito Villalba. Almada is now also tied with Almirón for second on the club's all-time assist chart in MLS play with 28 and looking to add to his single-season assist record of 16. The Argentine leads the league in assists and big chances created (21).

With his assist against Montreal, Saba Lobjanidze became just the third player in MLS history to record at least three goals and three assists in his first 250 career MLS minutes, joining Federico Higuaín (Columbus, 2012) and Diego Rossi (LAFC, 2018).

Giorgos Giakoumakis is now tied for first in the MLS Golden Boot race with 15 goals with three matches remaining, level with Hany Mukhtar and Luciano Acosta. Atlanta has scored the third-most goals in MLS this season with 61. The club's single-season record is 70 from both 2017 and 2018.

Philadelphia heads into the match in fourth place in the Eastern Conference with 51 points, coming off a 1-1 draw at Columbus Crew on Saturday. The result marked the Union's fifth consecutive draw, equaling the longest regular-season streak in club history.
