The Georgia Department of Transportation announced closures on US 441 from the I-85 Bridge to Dallas Drive in Banks Crossing to install a raised concrete median.
Construction is planned to begin Monday and continue nightly from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for four weeks, weather permitting.
GDOT said the construction will close a single lane in each direction, both north and southbound.
Delays are expected during construction and drivers are encouraged to choose alternate routes.
