The Northeast Georgia Physicians Group and Georgia Heart Institute have welcomed two new physicians in Braselton.
Joining the NGPG Vascular Center in Braselton are Dr. Samer Alharthi, MD, and Dr. Nizar Hariri, MD.
Dr. Samer Alharthi graduated from Taif University in Saudi Arabia, then completed surgical training, and a master’s degree in public health administration at the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio.
“What drew me to NGPG the most was the fact that they always put the patient first in everything they do,” Dr. Alharthi said. “The group is a pillar in the community, so I’m ready to join in that and work alongside these dedicated and expert physicians.”
When not working, Dr. Alharthi spends his time traveling and on landscape photography.
Dr. Nizar Hariri graduated from Aleppo University in Syria, and completed his surgery residency at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, West Virginia. He then completed his vascular surgery fellowship at the Jobst Vascular Institute in Toledo, Ohio.
Dr. Hariri enjoys kayaking, jogging, and reading with his wife outside of work.
Just like Dr. Alharthi, Dr. Hariri is passionate about patient-first care.
“My philosophy of patient care is to treat everyone like they are my own family,” Dr. Hariri said. “I ask myself, ‘What if that was my own mom or dad?’ and that motivates me to do my absolute best to serve them.”
