Forsyth County Animal Shelter to waive adoption fees in light of holiday promotion.
The Forsyth County Animal Shelter’s annual “Home for the Holidays” promotion is set to start Saturday, November 18th and last through January 3rd 2024.
The promotion will be waiving the standard $85 pet adoption fee. All adoptions include microchipping for pets, altering and age-appropriate vaccinations.
“Home for the Holidays is a great time of year for families to give our wonderful animals a forever home,” said Animal Shelter Manager Cindy Lacopella.”Each of the pets at the Animal Shelter deserves a family to go home with, and we truly enjoy seeing the smiles they put on adopting families’ faces.”
Adoptions are available at the shelter Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The shelter is also inviting the public to a free Family Fun Day event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 18. Residents will be able to see adoptable pets, enjoy fun activities, and bring in their own pets for rabies vaccinations and microchipping. The shelter's transition to a new name, The Pet Resource Center, will also be highlighted at the event.
