BUFORD, Ga. — The East Hall wrestling team had a solid start to the season on Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, the Vikings won a pair of dual matches, opening with a 47-24 win over Meadowcreek and then holding off Seckinger 39–33.
Landon Lee at 144-pounds, Levi Kinney at 150, Quentin Harris at 157, Aaron Brock at 175, and Jacob Hernandez at 215 all won both matches on the night.
On Saturday, the Vikings took part in the Buford Invitational traditional tournament.
East Hall had two wrestlers finish in the top 6 in their weight classes. Jacob Hernandez (215) finished 3rd and Kyle Mason was 5th at 285.
East Hall will be back in action on Wednesday at the Franklin County Dual Tournament in Carnesville.
