A woman from Cumming was killed in a single-vehicle wreck Tuesday afternoon in Forsyth County.
According to a press release from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, the wreck happened just after 3 p.m. on Windermere Parkway near Osterly Way, south of the City of Cumming.
An initial investigation revealed Kelsey Duttenhofer, 28, was driving a Honda Accord southwest on Windermere Parkway when she drove off the roadway and struck a fence and tree.
Duttenhofer was pronounced dead at the scene. The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
While the case remained under investigation as of Wednesday morning, the agency said they believe speed could be a contributing factor in the wreck.
