A tow truck driver sustained significant leg injuries Monday morning after an incident on Ga. 400 near McFarland Parkway in unincorporated Alpharetta.
The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said the incident occurred at around 9:25 a.m. after the tow truck driver pulled over to adjust the tow on a large trash truck.
“The driver attempted to adjust the vehicle and the vehicle in tow rolled forward pinning the driver’s legs between the wrecker and the trash truck,” Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer Stacey Miller said.
The driver sustained substantial injuries to his legs as a result.
He was transported to North Fulton Hospital for treatment.
