Gainesville Mechanical, Inc. awarded one lucky customer a $10,000 HVAC system Thursday during its 12th annual Customer Appreciation Giveaway.
"It was a surprise but a pleasant surprise," Patrick Horgan, the winner of the HVAC system, said. "I'm still trying to figure out what we did to deserve it, but what can I say, it's wonderful."
Horgan is a longtime customer of Gainesville Mechanical's services. He has used the company for several years and said the customer service is what made him a lifelong customer.
"They've always done an excellent job. They come at the worst times and they're reasonable, and what's most important to me, they're honest," Horgan said.
Gainesville Mechanical has given away several thousands of dollars in HVAC equipment throughout the years with the giveaway program. Customers who buy an HVAC system from the company are eligible to receive what is called a 'Golden Ticket' where their name is placed in a drawing for the grand prize. The winner of the system is announced live on-air in December during WDUN's Home Improvement Show with Craig and Steve.
"We've been very blessed to be able to have the [Customer Appreciation Giveaway] program and give something back," Rusty Gravitt, the President of Gainesville Mechanical, said.
