A teenage boy from Gillsville has been arrested in connection with a shooting at an apartment complex in Gainesville in January.
In a social media post, the Gainesville Police Department said Quaran Jamir Jackson, age 17, is facing charges stemming from the incident at the Shades Valley Apartments off of Limestone Parkway on January 9. That incident left Gabriel Ledford, age 19, of Gainesville in critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds.
Jackson now faces a list of charges including attempt to commit murder, armed robbery and aggravated assault. He was booked into the Hall County Jail Thursday afternoon.
