A multi-vehicle wreck Tuesday afternoon on Ga. 115 west of Clarkesville left two people dead.
The wreck was reported at 2:12 p.m. and involved a roll-off container truck. The current estimate by officials is the wreck involved between four and five vehicles in total.
The collision took place on Ga. 115 between Fairview School Road and Fred Pitts Road, shutting down the roadway for three hours.
The Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team is conducting the investigation, according to Habersham County Public Information Officer Rob Moore.
