Gas prices in Georgia increase slightly from last week

The average price for gasoline has increased at the pump compared to a week ago.

Georgia drivers are now paying an average price of $3.26 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline.

AAA of Georgia's web page says that rate is up about two cents per gallon from last week. The average is 13 cents less than a month ago, and 71 cents less than this time last year. 

It now costs $48.90 to fill a 15-gallon tank of regular gasoline in Georgia.

The average price for unleaded gasoline in Hall County is slightly lower than the state average, at $3.21 per gallon.

Hightest average price in Georgia is in the Savannah area, at $3.37 per gallon, with the lowest state average found in Columbus, at $3.16 per gallon.
