By Steve Winslow Anchor/Reporter

Gas prices for Georgia commuters are beginning to creep upward this summer.

AAA of Georgia's website lists the state average price for unleaded gasoline at $3.296 per-gallon.

That's more than two cents per-gallon higher than at this time last week, three cents per-gallon higher than one month ago and $1.18 cents per-gallon below the average from one year ago of $4.47 per gallon.

The average price for unleaded gasoline per-gallon in Hall County is listed just below $3.27, with the lowest average prices in the area found in Habersham County at $3.21 per-gallon and Hart County at $3.11 per-gallon.

The national average price for gasoline is currently $3.58 per-gallon.
