BERTHOUD, Colo. — A third straight round of 1-under par 71 on Saturday has Spencer Ralston sitting tied for 37th heading into the final round of The Ascendant at the TPC Colorado.
The Gainesville native had a fairly quiet day birdieing the Par 4 6th and the Par 3 to get to 4-under for the tournament. But after four consecutive pars, he bogeyed the Par 3 14th and then closed his round with four more pars to finish at 3-under (213) for the tournament.
Ralston is 12 shots behind third-round leader Alejandro Tosti. The Argentinian fired an 8-under 64 on the strength of seven birdies and an eagle to sit at 15-under (201) and climb seven spots to grab the lead.
The fourth round will get under at 8:30 a.m. local time. Ralston will begin his final round at 11:01 a.m.
