The White County Fire Services has received financial assistance with life-saving response equipment.
White County Fire Services was recently awarded the "Assistance to Firefighters Grant" from Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The AFG of $103,950 is allotted for three sets of modern, battery-operated, "Jaws of Life" extrication equipment systems.
White County Fire Chief Michael LeFevre says the tools will expedite their emergency operations and are a great win for White County.
