BUFORD, Ga. – Coming off a bye week, Buford put together a complete performance in a 31-0 win over Carver Atlanta Friday night.
After a scoreless first period, K.J. Bolden wasted no time in the second putting the Wolves in the endzone on an 11-yard pitch-and-catch from Dylan Raiola to take a 7-0 lead. It took the rest of the quarter for either team to get on the board as Mario Ventura kicked a 32-yard field goal as the first half horn sounded, pushing the lead to 10-0 through 24 minutes of play.
The Wolves got the rest of their points in the third quarter as Jeremiah Collier returned the second half kick back for a touchdown, Raiola found Ty White for a 5-yard score and Osiris Gilbert got a scoop-and-score to get to the final 31-point win.
The Wolves rushed for 195 yards while Raiola threw for 151 on 14-of-17 passing.
Buford will host Marietta next week.
