Hall County Animal Services to host "Dinner and Learn" event

By Lawson Smith Anchor/Reporter
Hall County Animal Services will be sharing updates on Hall County Animal Shelter operations with citizens during its "Dinner and Learn" event on January 16th.

The Dinner will be hosted at the North Hall Community Center from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. The Event will feature a short presentation from shelter staff, followed by a question- answer session.

“We know it’s important in our industry to be a voice for the voiceless, and having open and productive dialogue is a great way to ensure that everyone is pulling in the same direction when it comes to improving the lives of animals in our community,” Hall County Animal Services Director Trey Garcia said.

During the presentation, shelter staff will discuss  the shelter’s intake statistics, success stories, community cat program, Animal Control operations, facility updates regarding the installation of a new HVAC system and the long-term goals of the shelter.

The event is free to attend, though reservations are required. Those interested should RSVP via email to [email protected] no later than 3pm on Friday, January 12. Dinner will be provided for those in attendance.
