MURRAYVILLE, Ga. – Chestatee jumped on Pickens early and took down the Dragons Friday night, 37-14.
The War Eagles rushed for 390 yards on the night, led by Ben Plemons, who had 21 carries for 171 yards and three touchdowns. Hector Espinoza had nine rushes for 107 yards.
Defensively, Plemons added eight tackles, three of which were for a loss. Bryan Silguero had five tackles and an interception.
The win leaves the War Eagles (3-4, 2-2 Region 6-3A) in a tie for fourth place with Dawson County.
Chestatee will play host to Dawson County next week.
