Football: Buford shuts out Central Gwinnett

BUFORD, Ga. – Buford scored all of their points by halftime Friday night in a 50-0 win over Central Gwinnett.

Jordan Allen got things started with a 55-yard run four minutes into the game. Two minutes later, Allen caught an 18-yard pass from Dayton Raiola to take a 15-0 lead. The Wolves weren't done in the first quarter as Raiola found Sam Harkness for a 47-yard pitch-and-catch with 4:23 to go in the first to take a 22-0 lead.

The second quarter showed off the rushing game as Justin Baker, Ethan Eavin and Ty Green each scored rushing touchdowns before there were five minutes to go in the quarter. Raiola and Harkness linked up for the final touchdown of the night with 19 seconds to go until halftime.

The Knights had just 76 yards of offense, while Buford had 351, 271 of which was in the first half. Raiola was 5-of-6 for 114 yards and three touchdowns.

The Wolves will head to Mountain View next week.
