A Gainesville man was arrested Wednesday in connection to a sexual assault case that remains under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said a preliminary investigation revealed Osman Figueroa-Villeda, 40, allegedly raped an adult female at his residence on Monday, Oct. 21. Figueroa-Villeda was acquainted with the victim, according to HCSO.
Figueroa-Villeda is being held in the Hall County Jail without bond on one felony count of rape.
