Habersham County is reporting multiple weekend wrecks.
The first wreck occurred when two vehicles collided on Business Highway 441 at J Warren Road in Cornelia on Friday, causing significant damages.
Units were dispatched at around 7:30 p.m. with the intersection being cleared by 8:30 p.m.
No one was transported for injuries and the Georgia State Patrol (GSP) is investigating the incident.
The next wreck they are reporting occurred on Ga. 365 near Cornelia at around 2 p.m. on Saturday.
A vehicle left the travel lanes of Ga. 365 before barely missing a sign and then striking an embankment in a ditch.
The driver was transported non-emergent to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Habersham.
The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this wreck.
The last reported wreck occurred at around midnight Sunday to Ga. 17 in the Amys Creek community.
A vehicle left the roadway and traveled into a ravine before striking a tree head on.
Ga. 17 was shut down for about an hour and a half due to the wreck. It took emergency personnel about 20 minutes to free the occupant who was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.
GSP is investigating the accident.
