By Logan Landers Anchor/Reporter

A two-vehicle crash in Gainesville resulted in no injuries but did temporarily shut down the roadway on SR 365 (Cornelia Hwy) and White Sulphur Road.

Just before 7 a.m. a trooper from Georgia State Patrol-Gainesville was dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, the investigating trooper observed a Ford F-150, driven by Brandon Nix, 34, of Mount Airy, overturned on its right side, facing north on the southbound shoulder.

Also observed was a Ford Focus, driven by Travis Nelson, 49, at final rest, facing south.

The crash investigation determined the Ford Focus was traveling north on Cornelia Hwy and approaching White Sulphur Road that's when Nelson failed to yield while turning left and turned in front of  the F-150, which was traveling south in the left lane.

Upon impact with the Focus, the F-150 rotated clockwise and began to overturn.

Both drivers were evaluated but not transported for any injuries sustained from the collision.
