While Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away, some in Habersham County are already displaying their Christmas holiday spirit, and hope to share it with all of northeast Georgia this weekend.
The annual Habersham County Senior Center Christmas Bazaar will be held on Friday, November 15 and Saturday, November 16. Senior Center volunteers and orgianizers say that the bazaar will be open daily from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Kinsley Fowler is activities coordinator for the Habersham County Senior Center and notes that this year the bazaar is at a new location-the Habersham County Fairgrounds, as the event has grown to 100 registered vendors this year and will fill the Dewey Tench Market Pavilion at the Fairgrounds with a variety of items for sale.
Fowler adds that the booth rental fees go toward the support of various activities at the Habersham County Senior Center.
