Johnson boys soccer coach Frank Zamora has been named coach of the year.
The Georgia High School Association and National Federation of High Schools will honor the state championship coach on Dec. 16 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
Zamora led the Knights to an 18-2-1 record and a state runner-up finish in 2024.
During his tenure as head coach, Johnson has risen to one of the top programs in the country, winning a national championship in 2023, two state runner-up finishes and back-to-back state titles in 2022 and 2023.
