Eight people face charges in Hall County fight.

Eight people, including one juvenile, are facing charges related to a fight in northeastern Hall County on  Friday, Nov. 22, outside of a residence in the 4500 block of Callie Downs Drive.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO)  says their deputies were dispatched to the scene just before 11 p.m. to find three residents of the home had been involved in a physical fight with five people, three female and two male Deputies reported that the five  had traveled by vehicle to the house. During the course of the fight, one of the females who had traveled to the home was stabbed multiple times with a sharp object. The other four people who had come to the home by vehicle transported her to the hospital.

Members of HCSO’s Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) responded to the residence and to the hospital to conduct an investigation.

The preliminary investigation determined the fight was the result of an ongoing dispute among a group of teens and young adults. The altercation is believed to be connected to an assault that occurred the night before at Little River Park. In that incident, a 17-year-old female victim was struck multiple times in the face and was seriously injured.

A press release from the Hall County Sheriff's Office lists that investigators found probable cause to file chages against the following subjects:

Karis Gracie Lovell, 18, of Gainesville
Aggravated assault – cutting (felony)
Charged with stabbing Arisbi Reynoso-Rodriguez during the altercation on Callie Downs Drive
Posted a bond of $22,200 and was released from custody last night (11/25)

Emily Lynn Avendadno-Torres, 18, of Gainesville
Aggravated battery (felony)
Affray (misdemeanor)
Avendadno-Torres faces the aggravated battery charge in connection to the assault on the 17-year-old female at Little River Park; the misdemeanor affray charge is connected to the altercation on Callie Downs Drive.
Posted a bond of $22,200 and was released from custody yesterday afternoon (11/25)

No word at this time from the Hall County Sheriff's Office on any scheduled court appareances for the suspects.
