JEFFERSON, Ga. — The Buford girls basketball team held off Jefferson, 57-55, to win the Jackson EMC Thanksgiving Tournament on Tuesday.
E'miah Fields led the Lady Wolves with 25 points, and Lydia Ledford had 24.

Caroline Bull scored 22 points and had five steals to lead the Lady War Eagles to a third-place finish in the Jackson EMC Tournament on Tuesday.
Chestatee fell behind 10-0 with 6:22 in the first quarter but went on a 35-5 run to take a 41-24 halftime lead.
Addison Boyd and Payton Cable had 10 points each. Ali Jae Bull had 8 points, six rebounds and six assists, and Blakely Boyd had 7 points.
