Vehicle fire outside White County warehouse under investigation

By Steve Winslow Anchor/Reporter

A vehicle fire triggers the spread of flames to an adjacent warehouse building in White County over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

White County Public Safety's social media posted that their emergency crews responded to the Route 129 building on Friday, November 30 after 2:00p.m. following a call about smoke being seen near the Phoenix Crane Service building.

Upon arrival, crews found a commercial vehicle with the cab fully involved with flames, which had spread to the nearby structure. Fire personnel promptly knocked down the vehicle fire, and conducted thorough checks through the commercial structure to extinguish hotspots.

The facility was not occupied at the time, and no injuries were reported. The exact cause for the vehicle fire has not been determined.
