A Winder man was arrested in connection to multiple burglaries in Barrow County.
The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) reports that they responded to a burglary call on Atlanta Highway SE on Wednesday.
Once they arrived, a K-9 tracked the suspect and led deputies to a residence nearby.
During the track, officers discovered items they believed to have been stolen outside the suspect’s home.
Deputies found 28-year-old Daniel Arellano-Mata, who matched the description provided by a neighbor.
Investigators conducted a search warrant and they reportedly found items linked to four burglaries in the Barrow County and Statham area.
Arellano-Mata was arrested and transported to the Barrow County Detention Center where is currently being held on one county of burglary.
Additional charges are expected pending a further investigation.
