By Will Daughtry News Reporter

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners recognized the accomplishments of three Eagle Scouts.

At a Dec. 19 meeting, the commissioners recognized the accomplishments of Harrison Baggarly, Scotty Ferber, and Alexander Grigorian, who all recently earned the Eagle Scout rank.

That is the highest ranking attainable in the Boy Scouts of America program.

Grigorian’s Eagle Scout Project consisted of fundraising, building and installing three automated external defibrillator (AEB) stations at Lambert High School’s athletic facilities and offering training with the units.

Ferber’s Eagle Scout Project was building music instrument lockers for the North Forsyth Middle School band students.

Baggarly’s Eagle Scout Project included planning, gathering materials, coordinating volunteers, and building a boardwalk over a trail at the Mill Creek Nature Center in Buford.

The board of commissioners congratulated the scouts on their achievements and their hours serving the community.
