GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Lakeview Academy continued its hot start to the season with a 5-3 win over Holy Spirit Prep on Thursday at home.
Although the Lady Lions (4-0) opened with a 2-0 lead with Addi Graham and Sadie Leek goals, Holy Spirit fought back to tie the game just before halftime.
However, the Lady Lions didn't waste any time, opening the second half as Leek connected with Kendall Mathis for the goal and the 3-2 lead.
Lee scored again later in the half off an assist from Parish Byrd, but with 10 Minutes left, Holy Spirit found the back of the net again to cut the lead to 4-3.
Lakeview answered the goal as Leek took a great pass from Addi Graham in the last minute and blasted the final shot to compete the hat trick and a 5-3 Lakeview lead.
