A parcel enclosed in an envelope was delivered on Dec. 27, 2023, to the Gwinnett County Sherriff’s Office and received by Inmate Services.

Gwinnett County Sherriff’s Office officials said the parcel contained two sheets of paper, which were tested by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and confirmed to be fentanyl.

The recipient was allegedly Justice Lusk, who has charges including three counts of felony murder, three counts of aggravated assault and three counts of possession of a firearm or knife during the commission to commit certain felonies.

Sheriff’s office officials said further investigation discovered the inmate's brother Jacob Lusk delivered the package.

Both men are charged with a combined count of 10 warrants and nine felony offenses.
