HAMPTON, Ga. — The 27th season of summer Legends and Bandolero racing action kicks off this Thursday at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Racers young and young at heart, from near and far, and of varying levels of experience will hit the ¼-mile Thunder Ring to compete for the checkered flag across eight racing divisions.

Since its inception, Thursday Thunder has showcased some of the most thrilling racing in the Southeast and been a proving ground for future stars of motorsport. NASCAR champions Chase Elliott and Joey Logano each cut their teeth on the Thunder Ring before ascending to the top of American auto racing, among many others. There’s no doubt several drivers suiting up this year to compete in Thursday Thunder aspire to follow in Elliott and Logano’s tire tracks.

This year’s Thursday Thunder events can be attended by purchasing a pit pass, either online ahead of time for $25 or at the AMS Credentials Building on race day for $30. Pit passes include access to the garages and infield for the duration of the event. Fans who want to catch the action away from the track can view Thursday Thunder live broadcasts exclusively through US Legend Cars TV.

Thursday Thunder events are currently scheduled for the following nights in June and July:

Thursday, June 6
Thursday, June 13
Wednesday, June 19
Thursday, June 20
Thursday, June 27
Wednesday, July 3
Thursday, July 11
Thursday, July 18
