Hoschton man arrested for vandalizing 4 Buford churches

A Hoschton man was arrested after allegedly vandalizing multiple churches in the Buford area. 

Several Buford Churches reported property damage  to the Gwinnett County Police Department on July 9. Surveillance footage captured showed a suspect smashing multiple windows at four different churches.

GCPD officers were able to use Flock cameras in the area to identify and locate the suspect as David Rangel, 41, of Hoschton. Rangel was taken into custody and transported to the Gwinnett County Jail without incident. 

Rangel was charged with four counts of vandalism to a place of worship, four counts of criminal damage to property in the second, and four counts of possession of tools for commission of a crime.
