CARNESVILLE, Ga. – Chestatee head football coach Stuart Cunningham has his first win at the War Eagles' skipper as they took down Franklin County, 27-21, Friday night.
The War Eagles ran for 309 yards, led by Ben Plemons with 21 carries for 171 yards. He added three touchdowns to his ledger in the win. Colton Steele had five passes for 34 yards and a touchdown to Marcos Quijada.
The Chestatee defense came to play as well with three fumble recoveries and 10 tackles from Cayson Goss.
Chestatee is off next week with their next game on August 30 at home against West Hall.
