State football rankings: Hall County team debuts in top 10

The latest Friday Game Night state-wide composite rankings were released on Wednesday.
 
Cherokee Bluff makes its debut in the Class 3A top 10, coming in at No. 10 this week. Buford remained at No. 2 in Class 6A. Gainesville, off last week, dropped from No. 2 to No. 3. Jefferson stayed at No. 2 in Class 3A, and Rabun County is 7th in Class A Division I. 
 
The FGN rankings are based on a composite average of the AJC/GHSFD, Maxwell, MaxPreps, Score Atlanta, GPB, 680 The Fan, and RecruitGA rankings. (Area teams in bold)
 
NOTE: The Georgia High School Association will use a playoff ranking system to seed the public and private school playoffs in Class A, Division 1 to Class 3A. To view those rankings, CLICK HERE.
